ISAC Journals
ISAC has two scholarly journals - the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents (IJAA) and open access journal, the Journal of Global Antimicrobial Resistance (JGAR).

International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents
One of ISAC’s principal activities is production of the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents (IJAA) in collaboration with the publisher Elsevier.
IJAA is edited by Prof. Jian Li, Australia.
The Impact Factor is 15.441(© Clarivate Analytics).
The journal provides comprehensive and up-to-date peer reviewed reference information on the physical, pharmacological, in vitro and clinical properties of individual antimicrobial agents. In addition, it signals new trends and developments in the field through highly authoritative review articles on antimicrobial agents, immunomodulators and immunotherapy. Special attention is given to articles providing insight into the problems of antimicrobial resistance, local as well as worldwide, both in the hospital and in the community. Papers on the underlying mechanisms and on immunomodulating agents are also welcome. Both solicited reviews by top experts in the mentioned fields and high-quality original research papers are published
Editor's Choice
Every month, the Editor-in-Chief, Jean-Marc Rolain and his Scientific Assistant, Dr Sophie Baron, choose one or two articles the Editor's Choice section. These articles are open access for a limited time and you can.

Journal of Global Antimicrobial Resistance
Journal of Global Antimicrobial Resistance (JGAR) is a fully open access journal of the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC), the Global Chinese Association of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (GCACMID), and the Asia-Pacific Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infection (APSCMI).
JGAR is edited by Prof. Stefani Stefani, Italy.
The Impact Factor is 4.349 (© Clarivate Analytics).
The journal is a quarterly online journal run by an international Editorial Board that focuses on the global spread of antibiotic-resistant microbes. The Journal aims to track the resistance threat worldwide and to give a comprehensive view of how infectious disease experts are challenging the problem.
Featuring peer-reviewed and up to date articles, reviews and short communications, JGAR will cover the topical aspects of antimicrobial resistance proposing themes on:
- resistance mechanisms and gene transfer
- antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and antiparasitic resistance
- microbiological and clinical studies stewardship resistance to disinfectants
- microbicides
- antimicrobial resistance testing detection and diagnostic
- PK/PD and resistance
- surveillance studies of resistant pathogens affecting humans at the global level, isolated from different hosts and environments
